It's the Kobalt Steel adjustable rolling mitre saw stand for $179, cheapest of which I've seen go for $149, but obviously this is way cheaper: any downside to getting this other than no wheels??

Any of the ridgid/delta type saws would be more ideal for the 12" sliders. 10" and below is probably fine for the Kobalt but I will stick with the wheeled version.
