I bought the Grand Court last SlickDeal for around $20.
They haven't worn well.

The nearly-flat bottom wears totally flat extremely quickly, which then has resulted in one near-fall when walking through a wet patch after the rains.

Yeah, I get that they're tennis shoes meant for use only on tennis courts, but it taught me the value of a more aggressive tread and tougher, longer-lasting outsole material for use while walking around town.

For now, I'll keep wearing them only when it's dry outdoors, but I feel like it was a waste of money to buy them--they look new on top but will be thrown out because the bottoms are worn flat.

What's the difference between the Grand Court and Grand Court 2.0?

Yep, I am a long time Adidas guy but will never buy the Grand Courts with that sole, its just a bad design. Even when new they don't provide good traction.
