Used the chat feature on the T-Mobile app this morning and it worked like a charm. Asked about adding the 23 free line promo. No pressure either to buy another phone. Sending me a physical sim for my old Note 10.

One more data point. I was told by some reps that the promo was not associated with my account. Added a line to my account (Magenta Max with 5 free lines) as eSim. After activation the line listed the 2023 Line on Us P6 discount. There was no $35 service fee for adding the line.

I'm happy to report..
T-Mobile customer for ~6 years. I have insider discount. I switched from One plus Promo plan to Magenta max 2 line plan, back in December 2022, after finally get tired of not being able to get free lines. So I got the free line in December. Long sorry thou, it took 25 phone calls to get it fixed because the lady didn't switch my account over and the promo expired. That's why I think I have a generic free line. Anyways, my account shows this..

Chat someone else, I got mine to work with add a line, but the lady was so adamant she needed the phones iemi number. I didn't have it because I was at work, but was able to login to Google and extract it.

I paid $35 but I am getting physical sim.

Ahh this would be nice, but my "$105" simple choice 3 line plan becomes $170 if I change to magenta max... the $80 4 line plan from google fi sounds very very very attractive lol.
