I can vouch for this air fryer.

After years of looking for the perfect air fryer, I finally got this few months ago thru this deal - https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/776758

I got it for net 60$. Or 50$ if you consider kohls cash at face value. I don't - I discount it by a 3rd because using kohls cash doesn't allow coupons and I don't buy anything from kohls unless coupons stack. Had got 20$ cb from chase offer making it slicker.

I don't mind if I paid double of what I did. It is that good.

I prefer the flat tray style over the bucket style. The air flow is much better this way. Anyway if you want something to get cooked evenly, you do want to spread it in single layer. Bucket style may be deep but the area to lay down food is not much.

I use parchment paper on the trays included in order to avoid messes. But overall it is super easy to clean. It looks good on my countertop and looks definitely more expensive than what it is.

The biggest change in our life after getting this is how much more frequently I roast veggies. It is so easy and fast. I used to be reluctant to heat up the big oven for a sheet pan worth of roasted veggies for daily dinners, or then I used to batch roast veggies to justify heating up the oven. Now I do it almost daily in the air fryer. My kids love eating veggies and I'm happy to be able to do it for them regularly and freshly cooked.

Leftover or frozen pizza also gets cooked more evenly in it. Even store bought naan gets perfectly heated up in it. French fries are nicely done too.

I could keep on singing its praises but you get the drift. Buy it, you won't regret it. Plus it being Costco, there's that added peace of mind.

Hope it helps.
Any recipes for veggies? I'm trying to get more greens into my diet but hate cooking so this air fryer will be great to quickly cook up some veggies

Woot had these for $53 last week refurb/scratch and dent/what have you.

https://slickdeals.net/f/16465465-ninja-foodi-9-in-1-digital-airfry-oven-refurb-scratch-dent-52-99?attrsrc=search%3Aterm%3ANinja+9+1%7Csearch%3Apage%3A1%7Csearch%3Aposition%3A5%7Csearch%3Aresult_type%3Athread%7Csearch%3Aresult_id%3A16465465&src=SiteSearchV2Algo

Showed up brand new with blue tape still sealing it, tiny ding that I would have missed if not looking for

Sure not today's price but guessing decent chance it happens again if not in a rush
I picked up two when they were $60 on Woot. Have been using one every day, and kept the other as a backup. Saw the $52 deal, so bought another as a backup for the backup LMAO $100 is a great price for a brand new unit with Costco's return policy.

This has been a game changer for us in terms of counter space. I had a regular counter top toaster oven before that made the space in front of it unusable, but this oven folds up and opens up all that counter space next to our stove that we can use to prep food etc.

Great deal but i returned it the next day. The machine is too shallow and makes the house too smokey after use. Like others said, the cleaning is terrible. The mesh insert is very hard to clean and despite other sources saying it's dishwasher safe, the manual it comes with says it is not.
Can you say more on smoke? Can anyone say more on smoke? I'm in a studio with a window that barely opens & they'll evacuate the entire building if I set off the alarm so this is my biggest concern.

Bought this last time it went on sale. It evenly bakes cookies, unlike my old Cuisinart. It also stows under the counter very nicely. 10/10 would recommend

I don't know what they're cooking. I've had no issue with smoke whatsoever. But then I don't cook meat. So I'm not sure how that works w.r.t. smoke. I've roasted veggies, reheated and cooked pizza, done some lava cakes, heated naan, etc. Never had a smoke problem. This causes less smoke than my heated up Cuisinart griddle + grill when I make sandwiches. The only thing I can think of is a tiny stream of steam that tries to escape it when I'm trying to roast frozen precut veggies like broccoli or brussel sprouts.

Hope it helps.

Lol, I almost feel like having 2 going side by side so I can roast more veggies for daily dinner. Or when I'm making naan pizzas and the family is getting restless in between the pizzas coming out of this.

For your specific situation, buy pre cut pre washed frozen steamable vegetable packs from grocery stores. For example, Aldi has some really cheap broccoli and brussel sprouts for less than 1.5$ for 12oz. Set the air fryer at bake at 400 with cook time 20, and now rush to cut open the pack and dump frozen veggies, throw in a tsp of extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper (and any other seasonings of choice like garlic powder or mixed herbs) and toss it well. By now the air fryer is already heated up and time is ticking, lol. Stick the tray in. Take out somewhere at 15 minute mark to toss it around and stick it back in. Enjoy as it is once done or sprinkle some parmesan cheese / lemon juice or any other seasoning or herbs of choice. This is just a template and a lot depends on vegetable used, size of cut, level of doneness desired, crunch vs char, your personal preferences etc. I've roasted broccoli, brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, zucchini, squash, asparagus, portobello mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, etc in it.

Hope this helps.

"Air Fry up to 4 Pounds for Guilt-Free Fried Food". Yeah, keep putting waffle fries and jalapeno poppers and chicken nuggets in this thing and you won't have any problems with your weight, lol.

There's a good chance they're cooking prepared foods that explicitly say not to cook in any kind of convection style oven.

If the package advertises that some breaded item is "extra crispy", chances are it's already been flash fried in a low smoke point oil before it was frozen.

Even so, there are ways to not make the situation worse. Not using the air fry function with said foods is a big one, since you don't want oils being pulled through it.

For the record, I also have the bigger 13 in 1 model which comes with a griddle pan and higher temp modes that you can sear steaks with and I've never had an issue with smoke or cleaning. The fact that the bottom panel comes off already puts it ahead of every other convection oven.

Thanks, bought one. What put me off of the woot deals, despite the low price, was the 90 day warranty IIRC. I've had an air fryer die on me in the first year, so I'd rather pay more and get the full warranty + Costco customer service.

Have this but can't figure out cook times and temperature. If box says 400 for 12 mns this roster finishes it in way less.

Bought it off Woot! for $53.. we love it.. except the depth is not there. For example- we would air fryer giant muffins- just to warm/toast them.. can't do that here. But still we like it

Best air fryer around, but as others have mentioned, line the very bottom tray with foil before using it. Also, the basket is impossible to clean if you use it a lot. Still, it takes ~1 min to preheat to 400, better that the wall oven taking ~10 mins. All in all would highly recommend.

Yea I've easily dishwashed my air fry rack over 100 times and it looks brand new still.

I bought this in Black Friday 2020 and it's easily our favorite appliance. We use it near daily and it still toasts very evenly and quickly unlike a lot of toaster ovens after a while.

Re: smoking, I only had this happen when I tried to cook sausage in there. I decided the mess isn't worth it so stopped cooking messy meat in there (will still air fry things like chicken tenders).

Agreed that it's a hassle to clean and really my only complaint with it.
