If you're having trouble getting a code from a URL on an iOS device because it opens the app or app store... its because Safari is redirecting it. If you have another browser such as Brave as your default it will open the URL and not redirect it so you can get the code

you: i suggest doing this on home wifi and not on another carrier's data. load that url string into your browser. it'll ask for you to log in with your mlb account. then it'll process/activate. then verify in the mlb app. might need to log in/out.
