So if i send the entire URL to someone, can they activate on the desktop or they need to have the app? I assume if they do it on the app, they need to be on Wifi if not on tmobile network.

I would not trade for a link. The link I was sent ultimately let me register an account, but the account only gives me access to clips and the free game of the day. They still want another $150 to watch all of the games on MLB.TV!!!

Last year I was given a working, active account for the amazon gift card, and I had no trouble at all with that....
