Umm, you are very wrong. Liebert is a huge name in backup power. Most large IT systems use Liebert power equipment. I've seen it it most server farms I've been in.
Vertiv definitely isn't no-name, or Chinese, or a knockoff. It's a US-based, multi billion dollar company that has been around since the 1940s, and is absolutely huge in IT management and UPS/Power, right up to the industrial/corporate server farm level. It was #607 on the Fortune 500 list last year FFS.
Chime in to say the same about Vertiv being a big name company, especially if you work in IT. It's easy to be ignorant than do a simple google search I guess.

Grabbed one via B&H. Amazon link doesn't have the same price.
Note: some people have complained about the fact this UPS cannot be muted when power is lost.

I've been needing a new ups for the router, modem, blink sync module. All low draw devices and this should be perfect for that. Keeps them from power cycling when we have power flickers, usually in the summer months here in FL. 400w isn't going to do computer/monitor really, at least not for my beast of a computer. This is really better suited for small stuff. Look to a 1000va or bigger if you want something for a desktop and or monitor. Good tip is to plan for at least 20-25% more of a rating than what you calculate you will need.
Looks like removing or filling the speaker with hot glue to shut it up/quiet it down, should be fairly simple. This one does not have the option to silence the alarm otherwise, which most cyber power ups's do. Good deal at the right time and Ty for sharing op! 🙂👍
*Looks like it can be muted according to info shared by another poster (budster) in this thread a couple posts down. I was going off Amazon reviews regarding the beeping issue and I appear to have been mistaken on not being able to mute the beeping. Tyvm for the info to the manual! +1 and repped.

damn, just bought this refurbed cyberpower from woot https://computers.woot.com/offers...ery-backup

this seems like a better deal at a higher power rating, coax and phone protection, plus the extra usb port, although the outlet spacing is very different.

of course i've not heard of the brand, much less used their software. is the battery replaceable (i don't mind opening the case)?

Are you sure about not being able to silence the alarm when on battery mode? Reading the manual (https://m.media-amazon.com/images...uD0LXS.pdf), on page 14, it says for the scroll button on the unit: "Press-and-hold for 2 seconds during Battery mode to mute the battery-alarm beep".

^Meant to reply to the above about possiblely being able to mute the beeping.
If that's the case, that will be awesome and save me some time. I'll check that out when I get home and can look more throughly. Tyvm 👍

Serious question. This is 33% of the equivalent solar /battery backup. We don't need the UPS but we need the battery for charging low draw devices?
Pros? Cons? Any advice?

Would this be good for modem, wireless router, and a smartthings hub for a while, in the event of a power outage?
