Couldn't find a definitive answer for this from google, so asking here. Can I buy this to play on the Xbox series S? I recently got one from the vzn deal and it's my first console ever so not sure if it works like that.

It'll be the Xbox One version. It'll play on the newer consoles but you can't play with people on the Series S/X version online.

You can't play as Brazil (didn't get rights), they're adding women's teams which makes no sense as less than 1% of player fan base doesn't use them. They're just wasting time instead of engineering a great game.

Oh God, I wish I would have known all this before I bought FIFA 23 (Switch version) for my son. He loves the FIFA game and I thought I was getting him the latest and greatest. He also loves Brazil 😭.

Yeah not having Brazil hurts. I'd stick with '22 for now and just accept not having the most up to date teams.

Xbox one and not series x. Meaning even if you have series x you will get a lot worse quality. Please don't buy any Xbox one only version of anything unless it's the only option.

anything after FIFA17 / 18 has been really really shitty .. allegedly scripted AI plays in favor of players who spend more money .. etc etc .. no gameplay improvements no nothing .. so unless you want to just play with Brazil 23 is as good as 22

I will mostly be playing offline with friends, so that might not be an issue. Also, reading the other comments, it looks like Fifa 22 might be a better option for now (I'm an avid Brazil supporter).
