If your phones are so old they're affected by the T-Mobile 2G GSM/EDGE shutdown, you can be compensated with an iPhone SE 3rd gen if the line detects an old iPhone, or some other junk 5G lagdroid phone if it detects any other phone
Approaching 4 years, 4G/LTE. There's a couple of essentially free phones we currently qualify for, the Revvl Pro and Moto Stylus 2022. Both are budget phones with decent reviews but nothing special. We're not looking for higher-end as we're not power users. So long as it makes calls and isn't too laggy or buggy, we're good. I couldn't care less how good the camera is. Having a 3.5mm phone jack is way more important. I spend way more time on my desktop, laptop and tablet doing computer-type things.

In the same boat. Any update regarding $150 Costco card? Is it automatically applied like others say? I know that the rebate needs to be submitted for $250 port in credit with code 2023SwitchP13, but not sure how $150 works.
Seems like this and the free phone (Moto G stylus, Moto g 5G, Moto Edge) with trade in deals are dead. The 75/150 upgrade rebate at Costco seems dead.

Can anyone confirm if the 75/150 upgrade rebate is officially dead?

Not dead but pretty complicated, depending on which carrier you have now and what phone you want to get. I think that $75 is for a phone upgrade on an existing line and $150 is if you add a new line. Then there's $250 if you port from another carrier. As for phones, there's trade-in deals, plan upgrade deals and combo deals. But I've been told that if I can set up a new account I can get even better deals. But if I do that, how soon can I cancel the old account? And if I add lines, how long do I have to keep the old lines? So confusing.

And then there are retention deals too!

I tried CostcoTMobileBenefit code, but the website said the promo code doesn't match.
The rep told me to submit 2023switchp8, but I have not submitted that yet. I thought that one was for $250. I'm trying to figure out how to get the $150 one.

Did either of you figure out the $150 deal. I got 5 lines 3 weeks ago and the t-mobile rep gave me the sheet for the $250 deal When I asked about the $150 he said it was handled automatically and there was nothing for me to do. I would like to at least be able to check and see if it is actually showing up. I don't mind the 3 or 4 month wait.

The systems automatically handle it. You don't have to do anything. The status will show up alongside the $250.

Thanks, I finally figured it out. Their site drives me crazy. Just seems hard to find things. Plus their whole switch over is very hard to follow. Each phone has been connected and reconnected several times on the site. The initial setup is like 3 pages on their site and makes if very hard to follow.

I am currently on Magenta (not Max). Can you tell me what deal does T-Mobile at Costco currently do? I check the Costco website and it says "GET UP TO $400
when you activate with a Go5G Plus plan.
$150 Member Benefit + $250 credit when you switch."

What is the process if I want to try out the new iPhone 14 series. What if I don't like the phone and want to return everything?

Did you get the phone from the warehouse? If so, you should be fine cancelling after receiving the promo. If the phones were ordered, you'll get bill credits.
I thought costco don't have the phones any more with the new kiosks set-up
Can you help me understand the difference between getting the phone in the warehouse vs if phones were ordered? I never tried this before and thought no matter where you get the device, if you cancelling service, any promotion will become account bill credits? That is how I understand the phone deals on T-Mobile website currently.

Pretty sure it's a non-starter for us as we're currently on TM with phones that don't appear to work on most other carriers, but is there a way to get the $250 promo for current TM customers that makes sense financially and doesn't require lots of convoluted steps and inconvenience and months and months of waiting?

I'm still waiting. I have 6/24 as my date to contact them about it. I'm not keeping my hopes up at this point.

I just checked and mine from January was also denied with the "invalid store" reason.

Any update here if you were able to escalate and combine keep and switch the $150 promo?
Quote from luckygo :

I was able to get it approved by support. Received text that cards should be mailed in 2-3 weeks, this was about 5 weeks ago.

Tmobile support since this is their rebate and submitted through their site. This was before the rebate became automatic at costco. I had to submit the rebate on Tmobile's site. I would suggest contacting Tforce to get an update on your rebate. Please post any updates you have.

T-Force via FB fixed it and hooked me up with a $150 account credit instead of having to wait for the Shop card.
