I think their customer service is the best among all of the cards I have (Chase, Citi, Amex, Capital One, PF-CP, PayPal/Synchrony). Not really that close, either.

As far as perks go, I have the Discover It with 5% CB quarterly and decent redemption options, like in this deal. Frankly it's my favorite card. I use a different card for higher non-quarterly bonus categories (1% vs 1.5%).

Thank you for the reminder I just have $86 in my Discover cashback account.

I'm no longer a real fan discover, I remember the good old days years ago when you get the 20% cash back.

Eh not a fan of discover card. Their customer service is god awful. The perks are nonexistent. Some decent ones for amazon here and there but overall I decided to close my card. When I did close it the rep tried every and anything to offer me to stay. Closed it anyway

I got a Lowe's gift card from discover a few months ago and I have a comment for those considering it. If you return an item you bought with a gift card they will issue ANOTHER gift card for the balance. Generally I don't know wtf I am doing with home repair and buy several things I may instead of running back and forth to the store. I now have several gift cards of varying balances to keep track of. If I lose track of one of them it's a good chance I lost all my discover benefit.
