Good price. Thought I'd mention.. We got lots of these FREE from our Local Waste Disposal (trash service), most places do through their "Hazardous Waste" program. They inspect all products and gives away all those that are still perfectly usable. Helps with chemical waste reduction.

Finding they info is a little hard because there is no one universal term/name for the program. Try searching zip code + any of these terms..

"free store"
"free paint" & household chemicals
"reuse store"
"product reuse room"
"reuse center" free cleaning products
"Hazardous waste recycle program"
"free chemicals program"
"hazardous waste free store"

Not only do they gave away paint: buckets/cans, Spray paint, etc..
but also Varnish, stains, coatings, epoxy, polyV.. but also putty, speckle.. but also: acetone, spirits, strippers, household Cleaning products, soaps, pool/spa chemicals, garden/lawn chemicals/fertilizers/treatments.. pretty much anything that doesn't expire..

What they have varies constantly but there's always some & often lots! It is great for the environment and FREE is always better!

I used a can of the automotive version of this on my car's exhaust manifold heat shield a couple of years ago. It worked ok, but it's already chipping and rusting (yes I prepped and primed it properly) and I was never entirely happy with the look. Goes on kind of rough and dull. Next time I'm using POR-15 high temp paint or an equivalent competitor's version like KBS. This is more of a quick and dirty solution if you don't have the time or patience to do it right.
