Autel very slow. Topdon pro and xtool D7 or 8 much much faster. I have used all.

You have not considered that your suggestion is not even close to comparable. There are other Autel options on Amazon with "lifetime updates" and less features. If you are looking at value for lifetime updates on 8 features then I'd suggest something way cheaper. If you are partial to the Foxwell brand then I'd suggest you look at my reply earlier with a more comparable scanner.

The OP has a fairly new feature to these Chinese OBD2 scanners. Until recently the affordable scanners were just "readers". This has Bi-directional control that allows you to run certain components on your vehicle through the machine. This makes troubleshooting a lot more easier because you can not only read a code for a fuel pressure issue but you can also run the fuel pump's on certain vehicles. Thats just one example of many.

Autel will actually work reliably. Can't speak for this specific model, but the sites I have used reliably perform all the functions a factory tool would.

I bought the previous version of this last summer for near the same price. Very nice unit. Used it to bleed the abs system on my 2011 prius. Also used it for multiple basic scans and a few deeper scans on my other vehicles. Comparable to the $2k unit we have at my workplace other than not being wireless. I actually prefer the wired unit.

I'm looking for a good advanced scanner like this however I kind of prefer wireless connection. Any feedback ? Mechanics what's a good scanner for around this price range ?

Does anyone know a good TPMS programmer that will program all sensors? I've been looking thru a few on Amazon the last few days and they all seem to say "only works with 'x' sensors"

It comes with free yearly updates. Instead of paying for expensive updates with the autel
