You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.

Also things to keep in mind:

Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

high fee, but you get $300 credit on any travel, plus $180/yr in monthly instacart credits and a free instacart+ membership ($99 normally) and (effectively) $20/yr in Global Entry credits.

Plus a priority pass membership that includes airport restaurants, and a higher point value on travel spend (also higher point value in the portal but that's often not the best way to spend points anyway).

So other than the signup bonus being lower it's a net more profitable card above its annual fee than CSP is assuming you can get value from the IC credits...

Completely agree..... I chose it over the CO venture x card weeks ago. The points worth there is higher but far more limited on how you can use them.

So if I currently have a CSR, received my SUB back in 12/2018, and am well under 5/24 I am eligible for this SUB right? I just need to product change to a CFU and then sign up for the CSP?

I already have existing preferred card. Next month is going to be my one year with preferred. Should I cancel my current card and apply for this again? Or how can I get this offer without having to cancel?

No you are limited to one Preferred or Reserve bonus every 48 months.

Downgrade the Preferred card to Freedom if you are not utilizing the benefits.

You can't get this deal at all- Chase only allows one Sapphire SUB every 48 months.

Can you do the modified double-dip if applying in branch for the CSR?

I was added as an additional card holder when my wife applied a year ago. Will it still count for rejection

If you're looking for travel perks and want great sign-up bonus, have you taken a look at the current referral offer for Amex Platinum? It's 150K + $200 statement credit. That's the highest I've ever seen. Note: I don't have that referral offer, but others might.
Thanks I have looked into the Amex Platinum, however the rewards don't align with my current spending. I feel the Sapphire Reserve card gives me more rewards for the services that I choose. I feel a lack of freedom with the AMEX card in terms of spending categories or merchants.

You are eligible as long as YOU didn't get the bonus within 48 months. Being an authorized user doesn't count against you in terms of bonus eligibility.

bare minimum $900 cash back, if you play your card right for travel, could get premium airline ticket worth 3000 - 5000

I'm new to annual fee credit cards. Is CSP better than CSR? And why about Amex?

I got my CSP about 5 years ago, got Chase Hyatt mid 2022 and Chase southwest business in Jan/Feb 2023 and got a in review status for Chase southwest personal last month. Am I still eligible to get the SUB for CSP if I downgrade (already have a freedom though) and apply for CSP under this new SUB offer? Or is it too soon to apply since my Southwest personal is still in limbo? TY for any insights!
