You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.

Also things to keep in mind:

Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

Nope. You don't need to be Chase customer to be eligible for CSP signup bonus, but Chase would try to sell you other products/services while you are applying for CSP. Wink

Sorry there are 2 people asking this question but I did not find any answer so here again...

Does In-branch mean I need to already have a checking/saving account with Chase to get the 80k bonus points?
TIA

If you are not eligible for the 80K bonus, your application will be instantly rejected before a hard pull, so it's always worth a try with your local branch.

Quote from mumuu0 :
I received my bonus in 4/2019. Does that mean I can't apply till 5/2019 or just that I can't meet the criteria for the new bonus till 5/2019.

1. If your girlfriend is living with you, you can transfer the Chase Ultimate reward points between your and her accounts [thepointsguy.com].

2. Chase also has 2/30 rule, which means you won't get approved for more than 2 Chase cards within 30 days.

Quote from antoniodevil :
My girlfriend has chase freedom unlimited ; can she transfer her points to my Chase Sapphire Preferred ? If so, is there a limit on how many points and/or how many times ?

Another question: if I apply for the CSP and get approved, after how long can I apply for a chase freedom unlimited (to make the most out of my points). I know the 5/24 rule and currently I am at 2/24. With CSP I would go to 3/24.

Yes, you can apply for CSP and get the bonus after you product change your current CSP to another card such as Freedom. You can have more than one Freedom card.

Quote from omnicious :
So if I currently have a CSR, received my SUB back in 12/2018, and am well under 5/24 I am eligible for this SUB right? I just need to product change to a CFU and then sign up for the CSP?
Quote from citeeofangels :
I got my CSP about 5 years ago, got Chase Hyatt mid 2022 and Chase southwest business in Jan/Feb 2023 and got a in review status for Chase southwest personal last month. Am I still eligible to get the SUB for CSP if I downgrade (already have a freedom though) and apply for CSP under this new SUB offer? Or is it too soon to apply since my Southwest personal is still in limbo? TY for any insights!

So tomorrow morning I get my CSR downgraded to Freedom

Afternoon I go into the branch and ask about this deal (maybe I should do this first?)

Get insta-approved.

I assume my UR points will stick around and the new card will just map to my account and I switch all of my prepays over. I will probably get a new Priority Pass account... etc?

No special promotions in branch.
Can I just sign up to preferred, get the bonus, then upgrade to reserve?

Sorry to ask a dumb question, but I don't see anyone else mention this promotion by doing a google search. Hope folks can report back after Monday when they apply in person.

I had a chase Preffered 6 years ago and down graded it to a regular Chase Sapphire with no annual fee, so I won't be able to open another one to take advantage of this deal, right? Thank you for your answer.

Is there a Chase Sapphire with no AF? I only see Reserve and Preferred, I am quite sure if you apply for the Preferred you will get SUB (sign up bonus) again

Yes, there is one indeed and they call it "Regular Chase Sapphire". I did product change to keep the age and line of credit the same for a better credit score.

If I close the card then Id lose the age of credit so it's better for me to product change. Since chase has 3 different Freedom cards, I just switched to the 3rd one and will apply in the Branch in 3 days. Smilie Glad you know where I'm from
