You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

My apologies if this was already posted in this thread, but how do I find the referral link?

Where do we get the link? Do we have to know someone who has one already and have them send it?
If you're trying to generate your own referral link just Google search Chase Sapphire Preferred referral and it should be first result. You enter the last name, zip code, and last 4 digit of the card to get your link to refer others.
If you're looking for a 80K referral link to apply, then just get creative with your Google search. Plenty of them floating around on sites. I'd link mines but referrals are not allowed here
Hello, Can anyone help!
can I apply for the card at the branch and after the end of the year can I downgrade it to one of the no annual fee cards?
if I can downgrade, will i loose points?

You can downgrade to their chase freedom or another no annual fee card. You keep the points
Appreciate your help! I already have a Chase Freedom card. Hopefully they can downgrade and combine or move to another Chase no annual fee card?
You can have more than 1 freedom (useful for getting you a second $1500/qrt cap on 5x earning)...or you can downgrade to a freedom unlimited as another option.

Do you have to have a sapphire card to send a referral? I tried with my flex/freedom/Amazon and they don't show sapphire :-(

trying to hold out towards my vacation
My code generates 75K initially, then refreshes to 80,000 - so confirmed that this is legit.

This option might be better for some since the referee gets 15,000 points for each referral that gets approved. Don't need to go into a branch either.

That would be slick if it's working.

Yes they do, but it seems the referee has to have a sapphire preferred card. I can't produce a link only having a freedom/flex/unlimited
