I support this statement. Good call. I don't know if you'd consider Rage Against the Machine metal, but certainly as hard as Tool. And their first album is right up there with those two

Bold statement for a decade that produced Vulgar Display of Power, Rust in Peace, and the gd Black album. Maybe the best nu-metal album, but the first Korn album should hold that crown. Personally, Deftones peaked at Around the Fur.

I do really like this album, though.
