Sony and Bose are neck and neck for best ANC, right now and have been for at least 5 years. No one else in the industry even comes CLOSE to those two. Like next best is probably Apple, but it almost feels like it's not even on after you have tried Bose or Sony's.
I personally think Sony is slightly better in both ANC and Sound Quality than Bose, though it might come down to personal preference and situation. They are quite close. Sony's sound profile is a bit more accurate than Bose, and their ANC is better in high wind than Bose.
Basically for wireless over the ear headphones with ANC, you won't do better than these right now.
The one thing Bose does do a bit better is comfort. Their headphones are definitely more comfortable to wear for long periods of time both in the physical design and their sound feels a little better for long term use. Part of where they fail in the sound profile is in sharp attack especially in the highs when compared to the Sonys this makes them less accurate, but it's also slightly less straining on your ears.
Literally the only reason why I haven't purchased these is that I have the Bose QC 2s with a bluetooth dongle and the Bose QC 35s. I really don't need these because they are really similar, but I still want them.
