Garmin watches historically Excluded last few years. I think I used the member coupon on the 310 back in the day and had to exchange it. I think the expense and finicky nature of the devices led them to exclude it from coupons

It does. Many clearance items are sold through REI Outlets, to which the coupon applies. Do be careful, though, some REI Clearance price is really just market price.

Oh wow... so I just bought something on clearace. Is return rebuy a option ?

and the pricing is good but another 20% on top can't hurt

Arc usually excluded. I recall someone once saying on SD that you can call and they'll do it for you over phone

This is such a bad protocol, I've seen a few stores that does this and all i can think of it's just a waste of products. Maybe there are some legal reasons behind it but from a cost perspective I don't see why the customer can just return and rebuy the same item. Especially for a store with great return policy like this, you would think the store/brands would appreciate it not wasting an new item on return/rebuy for discount because people will do it.
