My wife and I take turns putting the account in our names every 2 years. We just alternate.

You're right. The standard plan doesn't include unlimited data. Most states have a 1.2TB/month soft data cap -- some North Eastern states are exempt from that data cap I believe. From what I understand, users who go over the data transferred per month are given one warning if they go over it the first time. The next months if they do go over the limit, they'll get charged something like $10 overage fee per 50GB, maximum of $100 overcharge fee. See: https://www.xfinity.com/support/a...ceed-usage

However, I am seeing that the Xfi Complete addon is available for $10/month extra bringing the total costs up to $35/month. For $35/month this plan still seems worth it with unlimited data and higher upload speeds (for select regions [reddit.com])***.

If anyone is going with this plan, I do recommend getting this "Xfi Complete" as it unlocks unlimited data caps (as opposed to 1.2TB without it), and it also unlocks upload speeds which for me tested out to be around 115Mbps, as opposed to something much less like 10Mbps without. For me, this add-on is essentially a required item.

For anyone's existing network setup, I actually didn't have to configure and/or make much changes to my network settings either. With Xfinity's gateway, I just logged in and switched to Bridge mode, which essentially made it a modem-only and then connected my router via ethernet wired, and everything worked as per my previous configuration I had with my previous internet service provider.

I just logged into my account, and clicked 'upgrade speeds', and selected this deal. Was able to purchase it without being a new customer. It took effect basically immediately (lost internet, then rebooted modem/router, and I'm using the new speeds now).

I'm an existing customer a few months into a 2 year contract at 200mbps for $40/month so I cannot cancel my service. When I sign in I don't see any offer for this perhaps because I cannot upgrade as I already have 200mbps?

Any existing customers still under a 200mbps contract that was able to get this without canceling? If so, how did you do it? Thanks.

Did your speed change when you did this, or were you getting the offer even if your current speed is 200Mbps? Having a current plan with 200Mbps (no contract), I'm just getting an error message about not being able to remove current plan. Thought it might be nice and easy as others are experiencing without having to set up a new account, but that may be because others are changing their current speed. Unless there's a trick to get it to work with a current 200Mbps plan.

As a current customer I see the offer on my account and try to create a new one but every single time I try this I get to submit order then it sends me back to a home page. Very frustrating.

Is there a way to pick up the equipment from a Comcast location instead of having it shipped? I can't stay without internet service for 3-5 days

Same here, it looks like existing customers can upgrade to this plan, and I can click thru all the steps until selecting standard shipping or delayed, then 'next' and it resets to main page again. I tried incognito mode and same result.

There was an option for in-store pickup.

I don't think this comes with unlimited data
Never in my life in this day and age especially, have I heard of an internet home plan that actually had data caps lol

That's just a hard no from any angle I don't care how cheap it is.

I do not see that option anywhere, weird. Can I use my existing modem? Would I have to call Comcast and tell them to remove it from the current account that's gonna be cancelled?

Update: Because I see this deal has reached FP, I noticed the FP bulletpoint stated this offer was for unlimited data. This is not entirely accurate for all situations at the current price point. I've notified a moderator to see if they can get that fixed. But for now, I'll update my post about this.
If you go over, you can switch to Xfi complete rather than paying $10/50GB. If you aren't hitting data cap, don't worry about it. If you want the wifi router cable modem device, $10 per month via the Xfi complete is worth it. I believe they replace the modem every 2 years.
