Booo, it appears that in this generation, RAM is no longer upgrade-able.

Honestly tho does anyone need more than an 11th gen in a thin and light?

$400 more. I'd rather buy a brand new from Costco.
I don't see any listed on costco.com with a 17" screen. Plenty of other options, and I'm logged into my account.

Maybe this model is a local in-store clearance deal since the cpu is a few gens behind.

Just received mine. Not factory refurbish, this is a returned product without proper packaging. The laptop was suppose to have a layer of fabric between screen and keyboard and the laptop was suppose to be in an envelop inside of the box. For mine, the oily finger print smudged laptop was sitting on those material inside of the box.

The 2023 model is refreshed now with a dedicated GPU and OLED upgradable screen I think. Not sure if they've shipped yet. The 12th/13th gens from pre-2022 should be dropping in price even more. I have the 11th gen from 2021 bought from Costco on a holiday deal. Great laptop especially for the weight and screen. Not a super performer but good enough for photo editing with Photoshop/Lightroom and 1080p video editing on Davinci. Haven't encountered any performance or heating issues.

Can anyone recommend a lightweight laptop with a dedicated Nvidia video card?

Some Gram models do have Nvidia cards.

Received mine today. Looks "used", not refurbished. Has fingerprints all over... Some marks that cant be removed on the laptop. Never seen any refurb this bad looking. Will be returning. They didn't even bother to clean it as a refurb either...

Thanks OP, this is a pretty good deal. But I'm much more interested in this LG Gram that's on sale from Costco right now. It doesn't have upgradable memory, but it does have two NVMe SSD slots, which I haven't seen anywhere else. It also has a touchscreen and thunderbolt ports.
It does have two NVME but you can only use one NVME at the time which means the other slot is for M.2. It says right on the main once you open the laptop, you will see.

The 2022 model has an optional 2050 gpu you could add. Also no oled screen for the 17 inch gram for 2023 though i believe they are getting a variable refresh rate up to 144 instead of the static 60hz.

I'm trying to learn as much about this laptop as possible, so can you tell me where you're seeing that you can only use one at a time?

Edit: I'm also looking at the LG page for this [lg.com] and I can't see anything about what you mentioned. It simply states "1TB NVME Gen 4 M.2(2280) Dual SSD slots" under storage.

This is a very capable thin 17 inch laptop with higher resolution.

I just received mine 3 days ago. It looks brand new. I don't think it's actually refurbished. I believe it's open-box returned. I did a battery report using MS config and it showed 1 cycle. It was used a total of 20 minutes since it was first turned on in July 2022.
