no it doesn't
i got from previous deal, 4k60hz never worked on 10+ laptops i have
Just a heads up. I have the 7 in 1 dock which only difference is it has a usb-c data port. Speed tests using my external ssd show while connected to the hub, my transfer speeds are cut in half. Plugging my ssd directly into the usb-c port on my computer (M1 mac mini) my read/write speeds are approx 750 Mb/s each. Using the same cable plugged into the docking hub, my read/write speeds are cut down to approx 350 Mb/s. I get the same results if I use a usb c to usb A adapter and plug into either of one of the two hubs usb (3.0) ports.
There is so much misinformation on this thread, especially people that have lots of likes on their completely wrong comments.

As for power delivery. If you are using power delivery through the hub you need 15w more then what your device uses. That should be a given. If you plug this into your laptop without power it will power through that. You are going from USB-C to HDMI, SD slot, etc, things that require power for the device plugged in or to push the signal on the wire. Do you think that light on your USB stick is magical or powered from a battery within the device? You are either sucking power from your laptop/device or from the power coming in. So if you have a standard Dell laptop with a standard 65w power adapter then no you cant use the same charger through this. If you have a laptop that needs 65w and you have a 90w adapter or a aftermarket adapter that's 80w+ then it will work fine.

As for 4k@60. Yes it works IF your laptop supports DisplayPort 1.4 on the USB-C connection. That's a newer machine, like 11th generation Intel or higher. No your 4 year old 8th gen isn't going to get 4k@60 but the 4k@30 should still work.

As for data transfer speeds. Yes it will be slower going through a hub then directly connected to your laptop. For 98% of people this isn't going to matter even slightly. For the last 2% that want fast access to a external SSD then it might matter if for some reason you are directly editing movies feom the SSD and not copying locally.

As for "well it doesn't have Ethernet/USB-C/VGA/etc". Yeah, it's $18. Buy something else that will definitely be more then $18.

Personally I bought 5 for work because people need a HDMI port or a SD card reader and those adapters are like $15 by themselves. Might as well have one that does everything.

I bought this one by Verbatim. Has Ethernet. and is less expensive even at full price. (I paid less, $14 on a SD). Can't say how good it is 'cause I haven't tested anything except the card reader yet. but it's got every I/O you can think of, basically.

Looks like it's 4K 60Hz for DP1.4 and 4K 30Hz for DP1.2.

i went through a bunch of these off-brand usb-c hubs trying to find one that was cheap but worked well for my macbook. from my experience many (most?) of the no-name hubs use really cheap electronics on the inside of the hub, which plays out with the hub having issues where, for instance, connecting something to one port temporarily interrupts/disconnects connections to the other ports in the hub. i have a monitor attached to mine and it was really annoying having it temporarily disconnect because i plugged in ethernet or a usb peripheral. so stick with the name-brands for these hubs unless you are really desperate for the absolute cheapest option. if you keep an eye on ebay you can get some real steals; i snagged an anker 5-in-1 for $10 which i'm very happy with
