As a Hisense owner who went for the 120hz I highly advise against buying this for any gaming system but it is nice and bright.
Can you elaborate friend?

wow...I remember paying around $1,700 for my Vizio E-series years ago...

I dunno if $100 off will get me in the car and on the way to BB, but, man, seeing mini-led in-person next to OLED and even QLED, it's tempting.

Viewing angles on the Hisense TVs are atrocious. I would recommend the 77" LG C3 when it becomes available at the end of this month. And if the price is too high, you can't go wrong with last year's model, the C2 (which should go down in price when the C3 comes out). Smilie
Why would anyone get a C3? The only real improvement is the G3

Great tv in terms of picture quality, but Hisense's QC is poor. I would buy the Hisense only with extended 5 years warranty. Got Sony x90k 200$ cheaper on recent deal with 5 year's warranty due to a better overall quality.

Fair point. The G3 will be significantly brighter compared to the G2 but the C3 will offer very little improvements over the C2.

What happens then? Everyone loses job and no one will consider buying new TV?

I'm not familiar with Hisense's Mini-LED/ULED tech but I've always seen them as a budget Chinese brand. I feel like if you're going to be spending $1400, personally I'd opt for an OLED instead of full array backlit LED. If you don't mind buying refurbished, there are Sony A80J and LG B2/C2 OLEDs you can get in a similar price range. Or even less if you can make do with 65in. I just picked up a 65in Sony A80J for $1050 last week for instance.

The x90k has severe & highly noticeable blooming. I cant argue that it doesnt have better build quality, but the picture quality is blatantly subpar to the U8H.

I would not buy another hisense tv again
The h9g was top rated
Picture quality is not that good and major Wi-Fi issues
I have that one and it's incredible! Search for the professional settings. HDR is perfect! Love the TV!

I have this exact tv. And the picture quality is great. Not oled obviously but over all kinda close. Tho it is super bright. Like maybe too bright
It's by far the best choice for a very bright room regardless of how much money you have. OLED is better if you have a reasonably dark place to watch though.

I don't have the U9G, but I got the U8G about a year ago. My experience has been positive. The TV looks great and works well in bright lit rooms. I previously had an OLED, but the room was too bright. I moved the OLED to the bedroom where it works amazingly. People should factor in ambient lighting conditions when buying a TV.

I don't game, so can't comment on that, but for shows, movies, and streaming, it's an awesome value.

Demand goes down along with prices further.
