Does anyone own this? Is it any good compared to other air fryers like the ninja?

I don't own this, but I was ready to purchase it last month to replace an aging air fryer. I ultimately decided not to get it.

Looking at reviews on multiple sites, there are consistent complaints about uneven cooking and burnt or undercooked food. It looked like this particular air fryer was bad for baking, which is something I regularly use my air fryer for (among other uses). I normally think highly of the Cuisinart brand, but there were enough plausible bad reviews to make me reconsider.

I also had my eye on the Ninja and decided not to go that route due to height concerns. You can get a taller Ninja, but it costs significantly more.

I went with another version of the one I have, which is on clearance at Best Buy. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/oste.../6417648.p
The previous one lasted years and was a trooper. Also, no digital controls, which I consider a plus as it's one less thing to fail.

I have an older Cuisinart that is identical except for the controls that had the same complaints. The temp settings seem off so I just use a lower temp than what the instructions say and I haven't had any issues.

Plan on buying this newer model and giving the older one to my ex.

The cheap heating element Cuisinart uses is the problem.

I have the same style air fryer toaster oven combo from Breville and they use ceramic heating elements. My food always comes out cooked evenly.

If you don't wanna worry about any of that get a basket style one.
