I keep reading deals for this brand as "Maker's Mark" and thought this deal was for 27 gallons of it.

Not to be that guy, but these were on the front page for $8 at Rural King 2 months ago. Limited market for those stores obviously, but there are still deals to be had. $11 is good if you need them now, but they seem to come down into this range every month or two.

These are good for long term storage. they are annoying to open and handle.

Yes, this has been their normal price for years now except for the random sale a few months ago. I purchase these about once a month and own hundreds.

Bought in Sep 2022 for 9.98$. They're holding up fine except couple of lids have already broken in from the sides and they were mostly holding baby clothes, nothing too heavy. The snap fit closing mechanism is kinda irritating to open.

About $$, I don't expect these to not be hit with inflation. Everything is much more expensive than it was last year 🙃😒🥴.
