is this one the best value if you want the Pro models?
also does anyone know is the Container is glass or plastic?
This is the one I got from vitamix on sale which was almost the same price.
I absolutely love it. Granted it's my only one. I use it every other day. I did have to learn about it though and how to do certain things properly (which I probably should have done with my last blender).
The settings are great and I use them all the time. I almost got the one without the settings and I'm so glad I got the one with the settings.
The container is made out of a heavy duty plastic.
Also I want to point out the self cleaning preset is absolutely amazing as well!

Plastic container. We're on our second vitamix, in general I don't consider them a 'good value' but consumer blenders in general stink and these work ok.
Saw a blender at Walmart for $25. Think I prefer buying several of that instead of this.
380 / 25 = 15
Ninja is the way to go imo. Best bang for the buck. I've had the same one for 3 years now, Ninja 1000, cost me $75 on sale, use it almost every day. And it actually works flawlessly, unlike almost all of those $25 blenders, which can't usually handle more than one, maybe two cups of iced anything.
Bought my Vitamix about 10 years ago. It's one of those things that your first instinct is "it costs how much?". But 10 years later I'm thinking it was one of the better long-term purchases I've made.
The low price here should eliminate economy counter-skating Explorian models from consideration. The Best Buy V1200 deal may be a better fit for som.
Pro750 advantages: 7 year full warranty includes parts labor shipping both ways. Full size machine and among the quietest. Compatible with the widest array of containers including self detect Ascent containers although the included 64 oz is all most pp need imo. Color options.
