*NOTE* no active coupon codes that I could find and test worked on the subs by themselves, no matter how many I added to the cart
These things are known to have a 60Hz transformer/power supply hum/buzz (I.e. a hum even when not connected to any device - just the wall outlet (and I tried several different outlets.)) and I can attest to such. I would say about 75% of the time, you can't hear it, but after driving it at a medium level for a while, it is very noticeable. Check out the reviews on the monoprice site, they don't lie about the hum.

Produces almost no bass at low to medium sound levels and at higher levels it distorts.

computer to Fosi Audio amp via 3.5 to RCA split.
Fosi audio has RCA Sub outputs that I can send to this Sub.
I have two Sony bookshelf speakers and the whole thing sounds really good. The sub is just for filling in those frequencies the Sony speakers cant reproduce.
This is practically cost. The hell.

From home office or small areas, this should work good.
For home theater, get a proper sub.
