This pad seems to be a "precision/control pad" so to me is more like the slower and more precise Speed Edition Fury S Pro Pad. My Fury speed pad is quite worn so I'm not sure which is more precise at "new". ITS ALSO SMALLER, LIKE SOME OTHERS HAVE MENTIONED, not as tall as the Fury S Pads. Acceptable-ish alternative smaller size for me, maybe not for others. Overall, this Corsair has excellent control.
There is a weird roughness that can be felt with your hand or mouse feet when you pull straight down. Maybe from the spill proof surface or something? Its not a deal breaker, but something that is def noticeable to me.
And then, I figured what I'm using is the old version without spill-proof.
Still, coffee stains are barely noticeable because of the color pattern.
I bought the old version at the same price and I'm really happy with this one.
