I have these. They are my set after trying so many. Got them at like 80 or 90 and for that I felt lucky. But headphones seem like such a subjective personal thing.
- the sound quality is what I like mainly. Rich, hear the more subtle instrumentation. These imho beat lower and medium tier stuff out of the water. And are high tier. Whether they are the high tier sound for you, I dont know.
- using on a Samsung and they have Samsung Scaleable Codec for bluetooth which imho helps the sound quality. Also UHQ codec avail too on my S23plus.
- heavier than ideal but because the sound quality is towards my subjective ideal I don't mind
- earcups round instead of earshaped which can be kind of annoying but because the sound quality is towards my subjective ideal I don't mind
- can't turn off ANC but because the sound quality is towards my subjective ideal I don't mind
- ANC is alright. Nothing amazing but good.
- doesn't super blast volume which I like as I am 50 and blasted way too much heavy metal through the decades. My phone literally warning beeped repeatedly when I had a few and was blasting heavy metal for too long on these. But it was great and I usually hate that stuff but it really kept me from too much volume too long.
- had Momentum 4 which I did very much like, but saved lots of dough selling those and getting these.
- these fold inward unlike Momentum 4
- might get another pair of these at this price just for backup

"The always-on active noise-cancelling falls into the 'good-not-great' category, too. Outside noise is diminished but not, strictly speaking, cancelled, and because there's no way to adjust it, let alone turn it off, it's a 'one size fits all' solution. And generally 'one size fits all' doesn't really fit anyone all that well."

1) How important is the ability to turn off ANC?
2) I know these are not as good as Bose and Sony for ANC, but how does it compare to Anker?
I just bought some Q45s but I'm returning because I find the ear pad material way too hot for my ears. (Odd, I know.) But otherwise they sound good.

The volume knob seemed like a great feature, but it doesn't decrease volume continuously like the volume knob in your car. It doesn't rotate, but you have to rotate it once to turn the volume down ONE notch. Very annoying when trying to reduce the volume more than a couple notches at a time.
The build quality is nice around the hinges, but the buttons feel very cheap. the volume knob has a lot of play and the sliding button that seeks forward and back doesn't do anything unless you push the button all the way to its limit. it's strong enough that you need to stick your fingernail to push the button instead of just laying your finger on the button and sliding. There is also a click when increasing volume that is not present when decreasing the volume. I don't think it's intentional as it's very loud and distracting.
At least the sound quality is pretty good. Want to mess with EQ settings to add more bass.
Edit: Is anyone else having trouble connecting the headphones to the app? My app just says connect your headphones even though they're already connected.
Edit 2: Had to uninstall app, forget headphones, install app, grant permissions until I got to the connect headphones screen. then connect headphones. works ok now.
Edit 3: After messing around with these, I think I'll be returning them. The sound is ok, but there's no bass whatsoever. No matter what I do, I can't get good, punchy bass out of them. If I max out the bass in EQ, everything else will just sound ridiculously low, but there will still be minimal bass.
The small earcups are uncomfortable and the headband somehow keeps sliding off the back of my head. Never had this problem with any other headphones I've owned.
For something that's supposed to be a $350 product, these fail miserably. I have Sony XM4's, and they are so much better in every way (comfort, audio, NC). I found out these have multi-point connectivity (which the XM4's also have). Which means you can connect multiple devices to the headphones but it's one nice thing in an ocean of bad things. Not worth it.
Purely for music, it is slightly better than XM4/XM5.

Edit: just realized you were talking about boss qc 35. My bad. 😅
I purchased Soundcore Q35 just a few days ago. I will be using them mainly for music listening and a bit of gaming on ps5. Don't really care about ANC. Which are a better headphones in your opinion? thanks!

I thought Anker(Soundcore Q35) good quality until right side broke (of course after warranty expired by 3 months) for no apparent reason, Looking inside where it broke, I can tell you the plastic where the muff swivel is as thin as you cannot imagine for such critical part of the headphone.
Checking Amazon reviews if anyone else had similar issue, and there are couple.
Called Anker about it, and after deeeeeeply appoligizing for the crappy product they are selling, they offered 15% on another crappy headphone if I ever decide to get another one.
They are really nice and sound very good. For $60 bucks I don't think you can go wrong.
Priorities in order:
1) ANC (I want the best)
2) sound quality
3) battery life
4) portability
5) comfort
Between the XM4, XM5, Bose 700 NC, and Sennheiser Momentum 4, I'm lost. And advice?

So both headphones are not going to last long, but at least with Anker I will get 2 year warranty vs 1 year with AKG. Just my thoughts.
Its got SSC. I thought buds pro 2 were only the ssc enabled device. But I'm happy these got it.
