I have these. They are my set after trying so many. Got them at like 80 or 90 and for that I felt lucky. But headphones seem like such a subjective personal thing.
- the sound quality is what I like mainly. Rich, hear the more subtle instrumentation. These imho beat lower and medium tier stuff out of the water. And are high tier. Whether they are the high tier sound for you, I dont know.
- using on a Samsung and they have Samsung Scaleable Codec for bluetooth which imho helps the sound quality. Also UHQ codec avail too on my S23plus.
- heavier than ideal but because the sound quality is towards my subjective ideal I don't mind
- earcups round instead of earshaped which can be kind of annoying but because the sound quality is towards my subjective ideal I don't mind
- can't turn off ANC but because the sound quality is towards my subjective ideal I don't mind
- ANC is alright. Nothing amazing but good.
- doesn't super blast volume which I like as I am 50 and blasted way too much heavy metal through the decades. My phone literally warning beeped repeatedly when I had a few and was blasting heavy metal for too long on these. But it was great and I usually hate that stuff but it really kept me from too much volume too long.
- had Momentum 4 which I did very much like, but saved lots of dough selling those and getting these.
- these fold inward unlike Momentum 4
- might get another pair of these at this price just for backup

"The always-on active noise-cancelling falls into the 'good-not-great' category, too. Outside noise is diminished but not, strictly speaking, cancelled, and because there's no way to adjust it, let alone turn it off, it's a 'one size fits all' solution. And generally 'one size fits all' doesn't really fit anyone all that well."

Volume is not loud at all. Vocals are fine since they have mids but no bass. They are heavy. I think that's the reason they slide off my head. Yes they make you sweaty like any other closed back headphones with leather-like pads.

I spend nearly two days on trying to come up with a clever comeback with my spent, borderline senile mind and it was all for nothing?

These headphones have that same signature. In an era where many premium headphones sound quite excellent, they don't stand out, but they are playing in the same ballpark. For $60 they are a spectacular bargain. Whatever led to Samsung's decision not to market them in the US, we benefit from it now.
The noise canceling is mediocre and flawed. Bose, Sony — far superior. But they'll kill the TV sound in the next room, the kids playing outside, the dishwasher running. But louder sounds coming from all around you? No.
The controls are minimal but very well executed, if you don't mind the tiniest delay typical of electronic controls. The rotary dial for volume (entire surface of left ear up) is especially fun.
Not as comfortable as Bose, but after a few minutes the memory foam settles in and makes a good seal, even on my large ears that are bigger than the cups. They weigh a couple of ounces more that competitors, and they clamp firmly, but we're still comfortable for hours on my giant Irish head. Maybe not great for glasses-wearers with large ears.
The "ambient aware" mode works reasonably well. It also pauses when you lift them off your head, and optional timed auto-off. The overall feature set is very good (for 2020).
I have a hospital stay coming up. These are perfect for that, since I can afford to have them stolen.
