Looking at the nutritional label of their 5 lb isolate, it's 25 g protein per 34.2 g serving = 73% protein... not great.

For comparison, their concentrate mix is 25 g protein per 33.8 g serving = 74%, for $10 less! And ON Gold Standard Isolate is 80% protein.

So either their label for the isolate is wrong or there's something iffy going on with their isolate mix.

EDIT: just looked at the nutritional info for the 2 lb isolate. There it's 25 g protein per 30.9 g serving = 81% protein. Much better. But why are they different? And why is the ingredient list different between sizes?

2 lb isolate: "Ingredients: Whey Protein Isolate, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Salt, Xanthan Gum, Cellulose Gum, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium."

5 lb isolate: "Other Ingredients: Whey Protein Isolate, Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate, Peanut Flour, Natural Flavors, Cocoa Powder (processed with alkali), Salt, Xanthan Gum, Cellulose Gum, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium."

I'll probably still give this a shot because it's a great price, but it's all a little iffy.

I'll stay away. A quick Google search about the company shows they have been involved in shady tactics before, spiking their supplements with anabolic steroids. The founder, Aaron Singerman, supposedly had been sentenced to jail.

That doesn't mean their current products are bad, but I'll just wait for a deal from a reputable brand. Just my 2 cents.

I haven't had this particular line of Redcon, but their other lines are very tasty.
I ordered the vanilla. Safe enough for me to mix in fruit or peanut butter if needed
Thank you.

In for 15lbs! Amazing deal. I've never had this stuff so it's a bit of a gamble, but I'd choke down just about anything at this price. Somehow ended up with two "$60" free bonuses in my cart as well.

Thanks OP!

Anybody familiar with the quality on this stuff/brand? At the price, I ordered 2. I am curious, though, and couldn't turn up much online other than the regular hype.

Similar question. Unfamiliar with this brand... How does its purity and label accuracy stand up to brands like MyProtein and Dymatize?
