I believe this model has a switch at the top where you can elect from hammer drill or normal drill mode.

i am new to the world of diy and still trying to learn the differences between all these tools. i always thought a drill kind of did everything and didn't realize they had different kinds for different types of jobs.

This drill can also be used in normal drill mode so it will replace my old drill when that one finally dies.
I bought the non-brushless one, tool only, for $40 and looks like it's still $40 online. I only needed it for 1x use as a hammer drill. But $80 for all those extras are definitely worth it!
