A good deal, but keep in mind that on the Macbook Pro with M2 Pro, the 256gb and 512gb SSDs are a lot slower than the 1TB and much slower than the equivalent on the M1 Pro, this is likely why they are having this price drop as their has been negative press about these drives.

careful buying apple stuff from amazon, even straight from amazon (not 3rd party) if you ever have something wrong and have to send it back or exchange.. they take up to 30+ days to refund/inspect. had an issue with an ipad 10th gen.. and amazon (again, not 3rd party) took over 30 days to "inspect it". everything else I've ever returned/exchanged, from amazon, took 2-3 days. their excuse was that it a high value item.. but you'd think since it's a 'high value' item that they'd give it higher prio for inspection. the longer things are in amazon's hands for "inspection" the more time for things to "go wrong" on amazon's part. very sketchy

It's good because Apple is obviously a good product. It's not great because their sales are usually only around $50 off to $200, which makes this sale fall into the normal sale category.

No, they dropped in price last time too. Most normal users will never notice the difference since it only applies to sequential throughout which isn't representative of real world use
