No pre-amp though. My speaker amp is right next to mine with it's own volume pot so pre-amping has never been a concern for me. The Modius might not fit your need, but for DAC functions... one of the best for that price.

You would XLR to this Liquid Platinum and RCA to your amp controlling your speakers.
If your speaker had its own volume control you are fine. If they don't have their own volume control then you can't use the Modius unless you add a separate pre-amp.
