Now a wifi or bluetooth temp probes, yes!
I got a "Govee Bluetooth Meat Thermometer with 4 Probes" last december and have used it a bunch of times... including some 20hr cooks. Done well. Paid $16 from govee direct on a sale.
WiFi would be nice... but for $16 it works!
I have a Camp Chef Woodwind that's just over 5yrs old... NEVER a flameout, NEVER a fire. I do basic cleans occasionally.... been solid.
If you're considering a Pellet smoker, check out the FB group "Camp Chef Smoker Smokers" It's an excellent group, well admin monitored, and VERY helpful.
I joined weeks before buying... learned a lot, helped me make a decision.
My $.02!

I've even used it to cook up some papa murphys pizzas and it does awesome. Holds temp better than the whirlpool oven in my kitchen. This year, we're planning on the Thanksgiving turkey on it. I was too nervous last year to give it a go.

As far as the wifi models, don't bother. While a nice feature, there has been issues with it. And, leaving an open flame with an attached fan unattended while cooking something that has the potential to drip grease onto said open flame/sparks is asking for trouble. Buy the wifi/bluetooth thermometers with multiple probes. Get a probe that monitors ambient temp to help monitor that remotely. Way more helpful than the wifi smoker.
The Camp Chef social media pages are great sources of help and information. Well run and moderated. It's a welcoming community to ALL.
****edited to add, buy the jerky racks if you can afford it. It triples the rack space for things like ribs. Height wise the jerky racks space is limited but you don't have to leave all the racks in, use the top and bottom, just the middle or the top, or just a rack over a pan to contain the drippings, multiple uses. They are simple and tool free to install.
Be forewarned that the delivery company may require "help" to unload as stated by Amazon when purchasing. It's a heavy SOB. That being said, this was delivered by Amazon and they brought their own help.

Initially had issue with temp being inconsistent. Contacted CC and they sent a new internal probe. Had same issue so sent new controller. All is good. Company is super responsive and doesn't make you jump through hopes.
Wish I would have gotten a pellet years ago!
Agree with others, I see no need to have WiFi control of the smoker since I think it's not quite safe to have it cooking when I am not home.
WiFi probes can give you info about your cook from away, but still since I'd be home, I can easily walk across the house to look at the display to see what either of the 2 included probes are measuring.
Regardless of that, I think Camp Chef makes a great machine for a fraction of the price of some other pellet grills.
I also got a nice cover for the grill for $13.xx

The app notifies me when the grill or either temp probe reaches the set point, which in turn comes up on my watch which is great not having to check my phone constantly.
As far as operating remotely -- it would just be more of a monitor. I can't think of much reason to change temp unless you're making an adjustment to the cook.
