Since when? This has been the default flavor I've ever heard anyone talk about for years
It changed. It tasted bad now. The chocolate malt is the new standard

Thanks.

Probably not the right forum for such a discussion, but would be curious if/when they come out with some long term studies on human consumption. Not personally concerned (my child making days are long gone), but the pros/cons of Stevia versus straight sugar (obesity, diabetes, fertility) would be valuable to know.

This isn't a deal. Actually 10% higher than the "MSRP" of the last year. But I needed a whey, so thanks OP.

I think you missed my point.

Not every item qualifies for the 15%, no matter how many items you have in your monthly shipment.

I average 20 Subscribe & Save items every month, and even though the majority get 15% off, some of them only get 5% off.

Did Amazon change SS? Looks like they ship a new SS purchase out right away, no discount (rather than ship with the rest of your SS on your SS delivery date—I even get next day delivery) and then you're eligible for discount on "future deliveries." Seems like money-making shenanigans.

Optimum Nutrition is a reputable company. They make great products and this is one. The ratios on this are on par with any isolate, besides the cholesterol. The issue is its 11 dollars a pound and we have been getting daily deals of whey isolates around 6-7 dollars a pound. Case and point the redcon one. I'm sure more are to follow. Throw in you can easily get ON extreme chocolate on ebay for 45-50 bucks.

As far as redcon1 the nutrients profile on their isotope is solid and I've heard nothing but good things about the taste of chocolate, mint, and pb. I bit on the 10 pounds for 63 today.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've read elsewhere, but not in a while have I confirmed, that dietary cholesterol really doesn't matter much (for example shrimp). It's when you consume saturated fat that your body processes into, among other things, ldl cholesterol where you have problems.

cheaper at Costco when they have their sale on it. I don't know if it's on sale for 39.99 or 49.99, but still cheaper

That's almost 2 decades ago. Of course it's cheaper. That's life.

I thought that was obvious to everyone as I did mention inflation. I was just trying to show everyone how expensive things got over the years (decades) while being light hearted about it. But sure, for those who did not understand, things are cheaper decades ago. The same can be said for gasoline, which was less than a dollar per gallon a century ago. Sometimes, it doesn't hit you that prices change so much until you think about it. Then again, it's all relative I guess.

Interesting never heard of that sweetener before. Thanks for the heads up. I've been sticking to monk fruit and steva, have to look into Ace K.
I'd look for somethign else.

Monk fruit and stevia contain lots of erythritol.

Thanks for sharing this. Seems like there really aren't any good artificial sweeteners.

They've really jacked up the price on these lately. Damn inflation.

Eh. I literally have bought both in the past month.

Rich chocolate still the best, unoffensive flavor just for going down easily. Malt tastes like, well malt (if you like that. It's good in shakes but kinda weird just in water)

Either way optimum nutrition flavors are way better than other brands. Take it from a gym rat who needs 200g of protein a day and hates eating
