YMMV - Saw this on clearance at my local HD. Link provided for reference only; it's normal price online. This price is YMMV clearance in-store only pricing. Worth it if you're just starting in the Ryobi ecosystem and want some quality brushless tools and also want a rolling toolbox. Otherwise, the 5 tool brushless combo that still seems to be $199 depending on where you live is a better buy IMO (if you're in a $199 area and not a $269 area anyway).

This would be a decent buy for someone just starting out.
The Ryobi link system is a bit underwhelming for their mobile cases, I expected better for the (retail) price. Adding onto this storage kit would likely get more expensive than worthwhile. (But plenty of room to expand tool wise with DTO sales).
Personally went with Dewalts Toughsystem because Packout was way too expensive.

I just wish it didn't look like neon green Duplo blocks.

IME reciprocating saws are of little or no use to home users. I'd love to hear different. I bought one years ago for one job and it didn't do that very well. Haven't used it since.

I've used mine to cut the tops off some swollen wooden fence posts and to remove some flood damaged wood. There were probably better tools for those jobs, but I had a recip saw at the time and it did fine for me. Definitely doesn't see the same amount of use as my other tools.

What was that one job you bought it for? A reciprocating saw is for things like demolition or cutting off a tree branch. It isn't used for accuracy
