Recip saws are very useful... and you can cut an exhaust much quicker, much more efficiently, ang generally more safely with a recip saw than with an angle grinder
Angle grinders are for... grinding... (yes cut-off wheels exist, but the recip saw is going to win because of circumfrance almost every single time... and without all the sparks shooting at warp 8
That's both automotive and household/yard applications..
