Sounds like this SSD has DRAM according to https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...pro-review. And it's TLC as the title mentions.

Performance seems to be middle of the road compared to other high end NVMEs, but at this price, I'm willing to bet it's got competitive performance/$.

And 2TB is $150. Almost same gb/$, 14% premium on the 1tb.

Plus, on paper at least, performance and endurance is on par with wd black SN850X (159.99 amazon). Which means its also on par with samsung 980 pro (169.99 amazon).

This is probably one of the best budget DRAM SSD deals for PS5 (and/or those that must have gen4) right now.

OEM should be 50 per TB or less.

Thanks OP, would love to buy one but I already have about 10TB of M.2's and not enough locations on MB.

Anyone know if this needs a heatsink if installed in PS5. It looks like it has some cooling type structure/pad built in, but I'm not clear on whether or not this will be adequate

Could I use this as an external drive with a casing made to allow it for external drive use? If so which external casings are there for nvme drives

Nice find op. This seems like a really efficient drive.
