anyone have experience with this site or this brand? Definitely in need of patio furniture for spring. Ironically enough "tanga" means stupid in Filipino so now i'm doubting myself
Yeah, if you just want "something" on your porch/deck and rarely going to use it, not bad.
If you want furniture that you're actually going to have cookouts and such, this is not what you want
These sets are HORRIFICALLY small. Height is 23" that's less then 2 feet high. I bought one and immediately regretted it. Luckily I sold it locally and got my money back. HUGE waste of time!

Comes w 30 day warranty. If anyone gets this it's probably a good idea to get the extended 3yr warranty
So what's the resolution process to get an extended warranty honored on this furniture? Is this company going to send replacements or refund if you say something is wrong in year two?
Tanga was a daily deals type site popular 7 or 8 years ago. Not a scam site, but I'm surprised they're even still around. They stopped paying vendors a long time ago, so I would be surprised if this order even ships. Definitely use a credit card with some level or buyer protection. If you do but an extended warranty, make sure it's through a reputable 3rd party that will honor it if the site goes bye bye.
Your taking about Tanga from years ago. As far as I know, that original company went bankrupt and is now a completely different company.
I purchased this set from Walmart about 2 years ago for $400. I only received half the set and ended up getting a full refund and they let me keep the set. After putting it together... You can definitely tell this is a cheap set. Like others mentioned, it is a small set... Every adult I've had over has fit in the chair without issue. 2 adults could fit in the love seat. Cushions are thin and seats aren't that comfortable. My main issue is that the weave that is used has an end piece that is tacked to the top of the arm. This leaves a sharp corner that has scratched me on multiple occasions. It is the same on each chair and the loveseat. I have to put something over arm to prevent it from scratching people. I would not recommend this set unless you're desperate.
I'm so tired of these types of photoshopped Chinese furniture deals. Is it really that hard for the manufacturer or distributor to stage $400 worth of furniture in a real setting, snap some pictures and link them. I initially fell for couple of these mini sized, photoshopped garbage furniture "deals" years ago and won't ever bite again until they can post actual pictures with normal sized real people in a real setting.
These companies are either too lazy and cheap, or the more likely scenario just trying to deceive. These type of deals don't deserve our consideration. This cheap garbage furniture will be littering our land fills in less than 3 years.

The reviews are auto-sorted to make 5 stars the highest shown. There's no way to change the sort. Looking at the negative reviews, they look small. People who are 5'9" say they feel small. Just FYI.

Good luck if it lasts 3 years.
I saw one exactly like this at Marshalls (or TJX, i forgot) and the leg was bent, it was on clearance. Those legs look mighty thin and with kids/adults pluming down on these, once they slide, they are bound to bend.
I would say with this type of products, buy ONLY what you can see, or sure that you can return easily. However some stuff like Costco etc are not too bad, I mean come on there are similar sets for $2000, not saying get those, and honestly there is a use for something like this for example if you are going to have a party and really need ADDITIONAL seating, I think these will work fine, or if you rarely have people over and you really don't want to spend too much, but it's a waste in the end.
I replaced my 15+ yrs old heavy steel chairs (they were swaying and frayed, pretty bad shape) with aluminum ones, they were fraction of the price like $30 each vs $150 each chair, and they are rusted, LEAKING RUST from every spot, horrible, stained my deck. I hate those things! It's the exact same thing sold by 100 different retailers under different name. Those are outdoor dining chairs, not seating like this one.

BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS IT'S TINY!!!! No way the retail for this is $1300!
