This is 3x-4x more expensive than Jergens, which is also $3 instant savings. Is CeraVe really that much better?

Depends what your needs are. I have moderate eczema, cerave does a decent job moisturizing. Much better then jergens and aveeno.

But if you're like my husband who uses lotion once a year, then there's no real noticeable difference

Yes it is in my opinion. I have very dry skin and it laughs as stuff like jergens. This moisturizes excellently without leaving a greasy feeling. I usually buy it from CVS with their coupons but this is a great deal for this size. Thanks OP!

Yes it is far superior to Jergens. Non greasy and the hyalluric acid, however you spell it, really makes a difference. I've tried many different ones and you can even use this as a face moisturizer and it works great. I swear by this stuff.

I use the daily moisturizing lotion now, I have oily skin, and it works great for now.

Great deal however the only issue I have had with it is the pump style. You can't get all of it out so you waste some. Great lotion though, I have skin graphs and they told me to use this and it has done wonders better than about 8 other lotions I tried first.

Pro Tip: If you donxt have a Samxs Club membership but would like access to shopping there, find someone with a membership and give them some money to buy you a gift card. When shopping w a gift card you do not need to show proof of membership at time of purchase.

Short answer - CeraVE is better as it's what dermatologist's recommend, it's what my dermatologist recommends as well. It is better.

Can't you unscrew it once the pump stops working and just apply it with your fingers? The 16oz pump style I've bought can be opened that way.

I currently have a pump bottle of Cetaphil sitting upside-down in my little tray so I can get the rest of the lotion out. Unscrew the top, let a bit slide out into my palm, screw the top back on, presto - I'll use all the lotion. I'm going to pick up this CeraVe to see how it compares.

this get praise mostly for being a good facial moisturizer, if you plan on using it on mostly your body then youre probably better off with jergens

this is pretty nice, does the membership also have to remain active until you use the gift card? this might also be good if your membership is about to expire, just buy a gift card before it runs out
