Edit: Answered my own question. From Apples website, "bands for 42mm, 44mm, and 45mm cases are compatible with each other."

Appears to be the M/L size not the S/M size on the 44mm watch fyi. If your size preference is the smaller of the two you may want to consider if this would be too long for you.

The 40mm watch they're selling the S/M version.
