I have been looking into floodlight security cameras and this seems like a good option comparatively, especially if you don't want to pay a monthly subscription fee.

24/7 recording even on local storage and still get motion detection alerts. Can playback recording by motion detection or the full video. Can connect to POE NVR wirelessly and record for a longer period of time. Smart detection.

Seems like a clear winner out of Wyze, Eufy, etc.

Am I missing anything?

If the light bulbs go bad, can you replace them? That's what I think is the crux of these floodlights

Reolink is missing motion tagging (colored frame around the trigger in video playback) and rich thumbnails (snapshot pic with the motion notification). These are really helpful features that other systems have and Reolink has been "working on implementing" for years. Playback through their apps is clumsy and annoying as well, not as easy to find what you are looking for compared to systems with more polished software like Unifi.

Reolink hardware is good though, you can work around these issues by using a Windows server running Blue Iris. Not turn-key and takes some work to set up, but maybe worth it if you don't mind.

Wyze and eufy out of box mobile app is just plain better. Reolink makes excellent hardware and great for those getting into the NVR world, but they clearly barely have any development going for their mobile app. This can be easily gleaned just by looking at the app reviews.

I am going to return them. These cameras have a DC adapter that needs to be plugged in to an outlet. However, exteriror light fixtures do not have any sockets, they are hot wired. Not sure why they expect exterior cameras to be powered from a pluggable power supply.
