Negative review upon negative review. Looks like these pedals are pretty bad, that's why the sale.

They suck. Bad shape. Not very grippy.

These are great pedals. Use the screw studs for traction. Maybe all the negative reviews are from people not using the studs?

These pedals are dangerous! You're basically standing on smooth rounded axles. They could only work for you if you have like a size 15 shoe with very thick jelly soles. I have experience with Crank Brothers pedals they need to do their pegs better!

From one review regarding traction: "The problem with, like many reviewers on other sites have mentioned, is the center of the axle is higher than the pins, causing foot slippage." "The pins aren't very tall either, adding to the problem."

This reviewer also compared them to the Chesters: "To be sure the problem wasn't just me being used to clipless pedals, I installed a set of Race Face Chester pedals. While not having the secure feel of a clipless pedal, they gripped much better than the Stamp 1's."

Bought these for a old family bike we had, shape isn't the best (for those who don't know, the axle is higher than the cleat so you may feel it under your shoes if you have a soft set of sneakers), but for $26, they are fine. If you are that concerned at $26, they aren't for you and you should be looking at their Stamp 2 or 3s at $99+

The OneUp pedals are on sale for $13 more and have much better reviews. Better color selection too.

https://www.the-house.com/frphrpb...ike-pedals These linked pedals are 40% off $29 so roughly $18 with promo code SAVINGS. I have two pairs and they are on par with the race face Chester's imo

I own these in citron color, they suck.

They are usable for casual riding, but no better than stock pedals included if casual riding.

Anyone on the fence because they think it's a good enough to look passed the negative reviews - just look at photo #3 & #4 of the isometric angle of the pedal. The center axel is just as thick as the height of the metal pegs.

...If you use squishy soles you can feel the axel. If you use hard soles you won't touch pegs on both sides of the axel. Which means half your foot contact is always on the smooth axel surface - just sucky.

I own these, but do not use them anymore.

as a raceface fanboy and also seller...there a rew tons better amazon/ebay pedals at this price in your color.

most my custom parts are raceface as my top brand. then fsa shimano wtb etc

would never get these cheap pedals. steop up to atlas if you want raceface otherwise amazon is far better at this price point and any pedal under $50

Absolutely idiotic design. Convex shape on flat pedals makes no sense. At best, you are on half the pins. Reality of the ride is your foot falls asleep pushing hard into the pedal with that center rise and gives you all kinds of anxiety that if you keep repositioning you can find a sweet spot. You won't. No idea why people like these. Switched to Deity Deftrap and never looked back.
