I'm bummed. I was planning on making the 4 hour round trip, tomorrow, to upgrade my 7 year old i5-6600K. Looks like I'll be waiting a little longer. These new prices are nothing special.
Keep your eyes on NewEgg. They've been posting some good deals on bundles.

Ultimately it's fine for me that it's not available. Was really looking for matx to reuse my old case.

I'm still waiting for a decent ITX board deal, to go with a nice ITX case deal I got here a few months ago. Back in the day I built mainly ATX, but odd in 2023 we don't have better smaller componentry selections. I don't want a big ATX build anymore.

I would be fine with itx but I have 4 ddr4 memory modules to reuse. Thankfully there are some lga1700 boards that support ddr4. That's a nice benefit of 1700. I can just upgrade the CPU and motherboard only.

True, would be nice if ITX boards had 4 mem slots. Maybe using smaller mem form factor. And I'm also using some older mem (including a bunch of DDR3) and parts that still have useful life for what I'm doing with the PCs.
The ITX deals sadly are few and far between, and things like PSUs etc can be considerably more pricey. I just think it's odd with how many things have reduced in size for the processing power, we are still mostly stuck with large form factor from days gone by. I'm going to be moving around working remotely this year, and my hulking ATX tower looks huge compared to the small more portable ITX case I got.
I did a Fractal Design Node 304 build several years ago with ITX board as a home server, and that thing is still going strong.

Advisable to get a new PSU as well?
