This is great. Better than the set before - just purely on the content-wise. I learned/saw stuff that I'd never heard of / seen before. Very interesting and keeps me wanting more.

It seems there are plenty of deals on the numerous old ____ Planet series, but never on Green Planet 4K because that's the one I don't have. There's no way I'm paying over $15 again having been burned every time on all prior ____ Planet 4K sets which all eventually dropped to $10-$15. Eventually even I can learn their pricing modus operandi.

Pardon my ignorance (just upgraded from a 16 year old 720p plasma), but does the "4K UHD + Blu-ray" mean that this comes with a digital copy (that I can put on a thumb drive and plug directly into the TV) AND a set of physical discs? (I have a blu ray player but not a 4k one)

Usually if it has a digital copy, it's labeled as "4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital." If it says "4K UHD + Blu-ray" that usually means there are just two physical discs - a 4K and a regular Blu-ray. So you could play the Blu-ray now, and when you upgrade to 4K, you are ready to go.

I don't do digital purchases, but in the past, it has been a code that can get redeemed at VUDU or iTunes.

Pointing out the obvious here (or maybe not) but I was excited to see 6 discs until I popped in disc #4 and it played the same content as disc #1. it's really a 3-disc set and the next 3 discs were for regular Blu-ray without UHD. I'm not sure why regular players can't decompose UHD signals back down to NTSC but oh well.

If you can stand DA's voice and the horrible background music. Next to people chewing with their mouths open, it's the most annoying thing. Totally distracting. He's such a hypocrite too.
