Price drop on the Rokinon(Samyang) 135mm 1.8 AF for Sony FE mount. The reviews say this is almost as good as the 135mm Sony GM, but does not auto focus as well.

The actual pricing outside of list is around $799 for this lens. As a camera geek on a budget, I like the deal. Smilie

    Try clearing your cookies, and/or a new private browser window and sign in again? I wonder if it's confused? If it's sold on Amazon typically you get 5% esp if sold by Amazon.

    If you're willing to buy used or via Amazon renewed, you might find a deal? I bought a 35mm 1.8 Sony FE lens w/amazon renewed, it came with 90 days warranty/return policy, so I felt comfortable. It was perfect, even though I was a little apprehensive about buying "used/refurb"

    Also you could get potential 5% cash back (savings) like another person here SonicTron with Amazon CC. Next Month you'll get 5% with Chase I think on Amazon if you don't have an Amazon CC

    I bought this lens in the holiday sale for about the same price. It's amazingly light weight. Alas I had to send mine back because the AF was really quite bad on my A7R III. It might be (a lot?) better on a newer Sony body. Or not. I'll never know. I can't wait for the Mark II version to come out with improved AF. Samyang has been making strides over the past 5-10 years. This lens is optically superb!

    Bought this lens in January and got the lens station with it for $710. My lens came with firmware version 2 and I updated it to version 4 right before a shoot, so can't tell how much the firmware improved the performance.

    I think it's dumb that you can't set this lens to manual focus unless you have the lens station to program what the switch does.

    Having said that, this lens is pretty sharp and way lighter than my Sigma 105mm 1.4 Art lens. Definitely a bargain at this price.

    I saw that on Amazon the lens station is about $30 - $40 when I posted this deal. It's usually $50-$60 so that's discounted too recently. Maybe I should post that separately if it's still on sale. The Sigma lenses are really heavy, though good quality.
