My thoughts on most all patio furniture is- why don't they make this stuff higher quality so I don't have to throw it away in a couple years?

Especially the metal stuff, typically rusts then ends up in the trash. Thinking about investing in used teak or maybe some stuff that's poly wood.

We bought Lifetime brand Adirondack chairs and they are AWESOME. I leave them out in all weather, no issues. Power wash them, full summer sun, you name it. Pricey, but so worth it.

I bought 2 $10 black metal chairs from Walmart 5 years ago, they lie on my patio folded all year long. I unfold and sit on then maybe twice a year. They work well.
Don't want to buy something that goes bad in a year.

If you live in a high humidity place with a lot of mold and pollen this stuff will rust in less than a year. Unfortunately nice outdoor furniture costs thousands if not 10s of thousands depending on what you get
