1mm thickness = 19 gauge

Trying to figure out if that's better than usual or not. Just looking at plain panels on lowe's [lowes.com] it seems like this price is just as cheap as trying to DIY (those are $22 for 2'x8' panels and they are thinner).
I just did two beds. 2x12x8 board. Total cost for wood was only $60. Much longer lasting and a lot of space.

wtf is the difference between the $39.40 steel and the $48.52 steel?
$48: 47.5 in L x 35.5 in W x 11.75 in H and weighs 11.8 lbs. Garden bed has a soil capacity of 11.5 cu. ft. or 86 gal

$39: 48 in. L x 24 in. W x 11.75 in. H and weighs 10.2 lbs. Garden bed has a soil capacity of 7.8 cu. ft. or 59 gal

Depends on the wood. I heard most wood should be rot-resistant wood like cedar as it'll usually be wet.

I needed one of these and purchased last week on Amazon. The pics look the same as this one.
In fact all of the brands look very similar, and it is simply galvanized metal so not rocket science.
Here is a link to a 8x4 for $60 which to me is a better deal. Set up was super easy.

Be aware there is NO cross bracing in this box. It will eventually bow out and fail.

The Northern tool deal a few months back had these $8 cheaper and had bracing

While there is no doubt the norther tool deal was better it only takes a piece of scrap wood cut to with to make ur own cross brace .

Also I've seen other brands , with no cross bracing and have held up fine. This brands longer beds do have cross bracing .

I'll be adding my own just in case

Weight of the soil should keep them in place. You can also stake them in for extra security if needed.

Just put some rebar on the outside where you think it needs supports. Problem solved.

This is not really a deal for a 4ft x 3ft x 1ft metal garden bed. You can get a 6ft x 3ft x 1ft metal on Amazon for $46-48.

I am not sure if this will be good for Wheatgrass. Wheatgrass roots can go deeper than 3 feet. We have gophers. I do not want to feed the gophers. I could dig down a couple of feet and make a barrier underground and then use one of these to raise the ground level but I am not sure what to use for the underground portion.

You have an alert for rectangke? What is a rectangke?

Probably the quality of the steel is the same for all of them.

Where does it say thickness or gauge?
Line the bottom with hardware cloth that is 1/4" or 1/2" mesh size. That will keep almost anything pest from attacking from underneath, and let the roots penetrate deeper.
