I might be the odd man out. By my experience with this device was terrible. Is completely rusted and corroded inside and it is not longer usable after 6 months.

Well how careful does one have to be or are we talking ? Can it be rolled over the grapefruit or we have to stretch the skin ..I really need to know, it's of great importance for this tool .

Even if you're not careful you can still use it "down there". You're just going to need something to clean the mess up with, and maybe a phone to call 9-1-1.
