Don't even THINK about using this in your ear. WAAAaaaaay too LOUD.
This really is INSANELY loud. Definitely not a tool to take your time with, even though it's effective. Loudness aside, it's a great product!

I might be the odd man out. By my experience with this device was terrible. Is completely rusted and corroded inside and it is not longer usable after 6 months.
Opposite experience here, I'm buying my 3rd. Though I don't use any other functions except nose and ear hair trimmer. The only problem with this one is that it leaves hair behind inside your ear instead of collecting it inside the case. The biggest issue is you cannot remove the head to clean the blades.

I use the one from Philips and is ok. Worked well for 1 year and then gave up. As someone with ear hair as well, this works great.

I have the men's high performance metal one and it's been going strong for 6 months with no need to change the battery yet. But I only use it for a short time about every other day. Also it's on sale for 99 cents more than this deal. I did get the plastic one first (minus the detailer) but it made a rattle noise like it wasn't going to last so I quickly sent it back for the metal one.

Read the first review. It's what made me buy it and I've had this for 3 years and it's still going strong. Highly recommend

Their noise hair trimmers are the best I ever used.
I agree these are the most effective nose hair trimmers I have used. I have used so many other trimmers from Remington, Phillips, and Panasonic trimmers and even manual ones. They are all nothing compared to the Conair. These are so good I bought a second one as a backup.

After each use, I remove the tip and run water through it to clean it. Keep that piece separate until it is fully dry. These are not waterproof so don't put running water over the entire trimmer to clean them.

Also, don't use these with weak batteries. You can hear the rpm speed is slowing as the batteries weaken (takes several months using it 2x a week). The slow rpm speed will tend to pull your nose hairs instead of cutting them and can be slightly painful. I use Eneloops or Amazon Basics rechargeables.

Been using this exact same model since October 2018 with no issues. The triangular shape is a game changer in comfort and it does not knick/tug like the previous electric nose hair trimmers I've had in the past. HOWEVER, if you don't need the trimmer attachment, I suggest you pay the same price for their higher METALCRAFT series:

Could this be used to get stubble length trimming for face? Been using multigroom 3000 and it doesn't trim well imo.
